My Week in Pictures- Week Three

Hey Guys!

Hope you are all doing well!!

My third instalment of 'My Week in Pictures' is a little more personal rather than fashion or beauty related, however, I still have some fashion and beauty pictures in tow.

To see my previous post, CLICK ME!!

So last week, my dear friend Chanel, you may remember her from Bon Ton Fashionista, left for a four month adventure to Berlin! I posted this photo of us when Chanel had taken me out when I was feeling a bit blue! Channy has been a total support system during a bit of a bleak phase that I was going through and I will forever be thankful to her!! Miss you my dearest bestja <3 xxx

My headband came out to play again! This time I paired up a Polka Dot Skinny Jeans with a Batwing Striped top and Long Cardigan. I also added some Nautical Inspired Rope Statement earrings. Oh yes, and check out my new mustard heeled combat boots <3

Some details from the previous days' OOTD. I ADORE this combination. <3

This photo was actually taken a few days before Chanel left for Berlin. We really enjoy sharing a Dolce Gusto together and whilst I was refilling up on water, Chanel grabbed our mugs and found these two cuties!

As I had said in my previous posts, I went a bit haul crazy last month especially when it comes to jewellery and accessories! Check out the gorgeous pieces I got from Mango! First off, the infamous ring I keep posting about and this gorgeous layered silver and gold necklace which I absolutely ADORE!

Last Wednesday I attended an Essence and Catrice event which was awesome since I got to see the lovely bloggers, especially since I was in hibernation, I hadn't seen many of them for ages! Check out  the products I managed to get my hands on ;-)

At home, my did a huge frame of old photos and many of them consist of me wearing a headband. So in true TBT fashion, I posted this old picture of me with a cute monochrome dress and white headband which kind of looks like a turban top... I guess some things never change! (BTW after I posted this my mum told me I never left the house with a head band back in the day!)

This is probably the most risqué outfit I wore. I was quite hesitant to wear it since I have gained a bit of weight lately. I paired up a woollen crop top which is surprisingly very cosy with a flowy midi skirt and my ankle boots! I also decided to take out my layered necklace out for a spin (the photo is not clear but as you saw from earlier on in the post its a gold and silver necklace) and I paired it up with my cross studs.

My Week in Pictures- Week Two

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all doing well!

As you recall from last week, I started off a new instalment, you can see last week's post: HERE!

So what have I been up to this week?

This OOTD is actually from the previous week when I went shopping with Chanel...cheating!! I decided to combine two prints which I thought won't go together but to my surprise they really merged together!
OOTD
Caliope Sweater
Shana Cardigan
Primark Tube Skirt
Primark Polka Dot Bag
H&M Leopard Print Scart
Independent Store Tan Boots
Chamilia Bracelet

Lately I have been drinking ALOT of Herbal Tea, specifically Twinings Vanilla Tea, which is just divine! I usually take this into lessons with me instead of water and carry it in my New Look Travel Mug which was a Christmas Present from a friend of mine, hence, the Penguins with Santa Hats... #notchristmas

This week the weather has been mildly kind to us so I sported my bright red pants for work one day!

OOTD
Orsay Red Jeans
Qed London Off Shoulder Heart Print Top
Jennyfer Cardigan
Primark Tank Top
Bershka Necklace
Tip Toes Mustard Ankle Boots

My gorgeous baby, my love, Titch <3 I took this photo when he was in super cuddle mode, how can you not love this face!

Pastels were front and centre for me this week! I sported my Peachy Pink Trousers and Leather Jacket for work!
OOTD
Orsay Jeans
Caliope Sweater
Primark Tank Top
New Look Leather Jacket
H&M Leopard Scarf
Independent Store Brown Ankle Boots

Last week I stocked up on some eyeliners and lip liners just because! I absolutely LOVE Make Up Store Liners, ok, I may be biased because I work there BUT they really are the best liners I have used, and I have said this even before I started working there! I bought a Black Eyeliner since it's super pigmented and I needed a strong black liner. I bought Seduced by the Dark which is a metallic-ish brown liner which is great for everyday use. With regards to lip liners, I needed a dark lip liner so I went for the darkest lip liner we have which is Russian Bordeaux, a gorgeous wine whilst my colleague suggested I try Gum and Dali. I'm obsessed with Dali already which is a two-toned lip liner having a pinkish and purple shade on either side which you can use separately or mix!

My printed trousers came out to play again!! I paired up my Red Baroque Print Trousers with a Beige Sweater and blue Cardigan and added my new Parfois Statement necklace! You cannot see it very clear from the picture but this necklace has some red touches to it!

My Week in Pictures- Week One

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all doing well!

As you recall from my last post, my main focus and content will be mainly on my Instagram and Facebook accounts where I will be sharing my latest OOTDs, Hauls and anything else I find interesting! You can see my last post here: CLICK ME!

I decided to introduce a new segment to my blog were I will be sharing all the pictures I posted throughout the week just in case you missed any, with a short description/ story behind the picture!

So here goes!

Mango Interlinked Ring
Last week I went a little haul crazy, especially when it came to jewellery! I wanted a little break from my assignments and work so I headed to Valletta with Chanel (for all you in the blogging world, Chanel from Bon Ton Fashionista) and I went gagas for this Mango ring... I have practically worn it every time I went out! <3

New Look Polar Bear Jumper
Here in Malta we are experiencing probably one of the coldest winters EVER!! Earlier this week all I felt like doing was curl up in bed with a huge dose of tea and just snuggle under my comfy quilt! However, life is not that simple so I had to get up for work! The first thing I thought as soon as I felt that cold air just as I got out of bed was grab your cosiest jumper or else don't get out of the house! My cosiest jumper happens to be the Christmas Jumper I bought for last year's Christmas festivities which feature cute polar bears! So I said oh well, what the hell... just go for it! #rebel

Ontop Turban Top
So one of the reasons I went shopping to Valletta was actually this beauty over here! I have been seeing so many posts about this new shop that I just had to check it out! Apart from the fact that I wanted to own a Turban Top for quite a while! It took me a while to choose between a woollen beige or blue turban top but thanks to Chanel and the super helpful sales girl at Ontop, blue was the clear winner! #soinlove

Books, Glorious Books
This photo was actually a re-post since I had posted it on Instagram quite a while ago but since they are part of the huge spending spree I did this month I said why not?! I have been wanting to buy the above books for ages and I finally managed to get my hands on them! As you might know or not know, one of people I look up to in showbiz is Lea Michele a.k.a Rachel Barry on Glee, this woman's strength and talent just leave me in awe!! Another book I have been wanting to get my hands on is Jane Hawking's Travelling to Infinity, her memoir about her life with Stephen Hawking or for all you movie junkies, the book that inspired The Theory of Everything! I strongly believe that when a book is turned into a movie, the book always surpasses the movie! Last but not least, Nicholas Sparks infamous The Notebook! Again, same reason as before, I have been wanting to read this book so much, being one of my favourite movies and all!

St. Paddys OOTD
Unfortunately on St. Paddy's Day I could't go out for a pint of Guiness, reason being is that I had a course till late and mum was going for an operation first thing in the morning. Even though I couldn't go out and enjoy myself, I still could look the part!

So for Christmas I wanted a Chamilia Bracelet super badly! I ended up getting it in January but better late than never ;-) I'm planning to do a post on my bracelet which basically never comes off me unless I'm heading in the shower or sleeping! Till now, this is my collection <3

RGB + CMYK and Polka Dots Themed Party
My friend threw a 'RGB+CMYK/ Polka Dot' Themed Party last week were guests were invited to colour block colours from the colour chart however no patterns except Polka Dots were allowed! I decided to combine quite a few aspects and came up with the above OOTD... and yes, I was the brightest at the party teehee-hee!

OOTD: What I wore to the Malta Fashion Awards

Hey Guys!

I had a very good rest after all the Malta Fashion Week Madness... just joking! It was actually a lovely experience which I really enjoyed throughly and I'm trying to get back in my old routine!

As you know, last Saturday marked the biggest fashion event in Malta, the Fashion Awards and what was more suited than a brand new outfit specially bought for this event!

Last Saturday marked the opening of the highly awaited new store, River Island so I obviously had to get myself down there and I found a beautiful jumpsuit which I just had to have! I also went to New Look who had a fantastic "Buy Two, Get One Free" offer and I bought this gorgeous Mint Blazer together with white shoes and a layered necklace!

My hair was done by the lovely and talented Graziella at the Dean Gera Salon at the Point!

OOTD: What I wore to the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2014 International Designers Fashion Show

Hey Guys,

This post is coming a day late since I was very busy yesterday going from one thing to another!

One of my good friends, Deb has recently launched a new handmade jewellery company and she had the pleasure of sponsoring me with one of her pieces for this look. Since her pieces are very vintage inspired, I decided to wear a vintage outfit with a modern twist! The piece I chose was actually a long necklace which Deb shortened for me! She also does custom made pieces!

Make sure to check out her facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/patchesandbonnets?fref=ts

For my look I went with a see-through bat wing top paired up with my favourite maxi skirt and leather jacket. After a week in heels I decided to wear flats, my poor feet needed a break :-p

OOTD
Purple (Dorothy Perkins) See Through Bat Wing Top
New Look Maxi Skirt
New Look Leather Jacket

For my hair and make up, I decided to go a little gothic chic by pairing a heavy dark eye with a hint of cranberry in my crease together with a nude lip. I pulled my hair up in a high pony tail to finish off this look!

I hope you enjoyed this look! Stay tuned for my last and final look at the Malta Fashion Awards!

OOTD: What I wore to the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2014 Gagliardi Fashion Show

Hey Guys!

Yesterday I attended the Gagliardi Fashion Show who celebrated 50 years of Bortex in Malta.

Keeping in check with the nature of the show, I went for a collarless jacket, an embellished sheer top and my wrap around bird print skirt. I finished off the look with nude and rose gold accessories.

Throughout this week I wore my midi rings which I got from Black Tied, however I realised that they never showed up in my photos so I took a close up picture so that you can see them!

For my make up I went very  natural and added a navy blue line, for my lips I used a purply/ pink shiny lipstick, Obsess from Make Up Store to give a little bit of colour to the outfit.

OOTD: What I wore to the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2014 Bridal Fashion Show

Hey Guys!

Another day, another Malta Fashion Week Outfit Post!

Yesterday I attended the Bridal Fashion show, one of my favourite yearly shows!

I was tempted to wear a white lace dress but I found a better, more fun option!

My Sheer shirt with a number of Engagement Rings printed on the shirt was ironic yet super fun to wear and although slightly cheesy it wasn't in your face cheesy!

I paired up this shirt with a leather midi pencil skirt and my leather jacket! To add a pop of colour I still decided to add a little bridal white by wearing my rope necklace and I completed the look by wearing a mint clutch!

I also got photobombed by the gorgeous Gaby Curmi, winner of the Best Female Model 2013 award and very old friend of mine, who I love and adore <3

OOTD: What I wore to the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2014 TIffany Pisani Swimwear Fashion Show

Hi Guys!

I have been wanting to wear this outfit since the beginning of fashion week, however, since it's quite a bright, in your face outfit, I was hesitant to wear it due to the fact that the events were held in the evening and the mood of the events was more evening-ish wear.

However, since we were celebrating summer during this event seeing that the show revolved around swimwear, I decided to go for it!

I wore one of my favourite pair of pants, reason being is that they're floral and I'm kind of obsessed right now and because of the fact that the floral print itself reminds me of an oil painting! I paired it up with my white blazer which has a floral embossed print together with my very neon coral heels! To finish off the look I paired it up with a nude messenger bag and finished off the look with one of my favourite pieces from Yana's Jewellery!

OOTD
Peacocks White Blazer
Orsay Floral Print Trousers
e-xclusive Tank Top
Dylons Neon Coral Heels

My make up was quite plain and simple pairing up a natural eye with a neon corally pink lip using my Mac Nicki Minaj Viva Glam Lipstick (to match my shoes- not really ;))

I hope you enjoyed this look!

OOTD: What I wore to the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2014 Charles and Ron Fashion Show

Hey Guys!

Day three of the fabulous and amazing Malta Fashion Week hosted the magnificent Charles and Ron show!

Check out my blog post here:

Charles and Ron shows are always spectacular so I wanted to wear one of my favourite black and white aztec maxi dresses with a double split which I paired up with my leather jacket! I wanted to add some colour to the outfit so I wore my statement feather earrings!

Yet again, my dear friend and photographer Kevin Gatt took my outfit photos! Check out his facebook page and website here:

OOTD
New Look B & W Aztec Print Maxi Dress
New Look Leather Jacket
New Look Feather Earrings

For hair and make up I decided to do a heavy side part and create a sleek low ponytail. I kept my make up fairly by applying the NYX Jumbo Stick in Black all over my eyelid together with my Mac eyeshadow in Cranberry. Although I had a heavy eye, I also went for a dark lip using my lipstick in New York Apple.

Hope you enjoyed this look!

OOTD: What I wore to the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2014 New Designers Show!

After a long absence, yet again, inspiration has finally rushed back to mama yesterday after watching the amazing New Designers show at the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week!

This is my third Malta Fashion Week and this year, hopefully with no hospital visits, I will be attending all the shows!

I absolutely love attending these shows! Seeing and learning about others' creative muses which are then mastered into a piece of clothing/ item, amazes me!

Lately I have been inclined to wear bright colours and floral prints, there's something about them which give me surges of energy!

I paired up a nude pink blazer with a floral top and accented blue pencil skirt finished off with blue statement studs and one of my favourite hand bags!

OOTD
Tally Weijl Rose Gold Sunglasses
Primark Nude Blazer
New Look Floral Graphic Print Top
Orsay Pencil Skirt

Make up on the other hand was quite simple! I applied my Make Up Store Microshadow in Cupcake all over the lid and finished it off with a beige eyeshadow just at the corner of my eye and paired it up with my favourite Make Up Store lipstick Mandy!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Stay tuned for more event and outfit posts throughout this week!

OOTD: The One at the Family Wedding!

Hey Guys!

Hope you are all doing well!!

So, yesterday I attended my cousin's wedding, the first one from my Dad's side!

I know I don't usually write very personal posts here but seeing how much the last post helped me, I decided to share something with you.

Yesterday was the first wedding that I actually went stag to. To be honest I was a bit hesitant at first to go on my own, however, seeing that I am currently going through an 'I would like to get to know Martina more' phase, I decided that I would give it a go and see from there!

Who would have known that something I was so skeptical of, would be so  much fun!?!?!

Yes, in actual fact, I did find myself surrounded with couples and dancing on my own most of the time... I couldn't steal my brother's girlfriend or cousin away for long periods ;-) but it sure got me out of my comfort zone!

To top that all off, I felt great all night! This was the first time I was actually debuting my new figure! I wore a simple yet elegant dress and I felt like a princess all night! I danced the night away and had a few drinks here and there and just enjoyed myself really and truly!

The dress I wore was from a shop in Birkirkara called San Mark which we altered slightly since it was too long for me, however, I decided that I would like a little train at the back! I paired it up with my New Look studded heels together with Accessorize drop earrings and a silver Fossil bracelet which my good friend Marija (a.k.a Pocalocca) had given me for my lucky birthday!

I never wore my hair up for a wedding but I decided to give it a shot so I showed my hairdresser a picture of Eva Longoria and she created this beautiful up style which we then paired up with a braided black and silver band!

Since I did not have much colour in my outfit, I decided to focus on adding subtle colour in my make up! I decided to focus on cranberry tones both on my eyes and lips and added a bit of silver in the corner of my eyes!

I don't have a clear picture of the make up, but I do have a picture I sent to my friends on facebook messenger which shows a bit of the make up!

I hope you enjoyed this post!!

Until next time!

OOTD- A little Pick Me Up!

Hey Guys!

Hope you are all doing well!

I know I have been absent these past few weeks, however, I have been experiencing severe writers' block due to some things which are going on in my life.

These past weeks have seen me take probably one of the hardest decisions of my life which changed life as I knew it.

I was not in the best of places so when I was invited to the Catrice Event I was super excited to meet all my lovely blogger friends and have a night surrounded with tons of make up!

I also needed a little Pick Me Up and this Catsuit and Leather Jacket Combo did just that!

I hadn't felt so good in weeks and this outfit just picked me up big time, boosted my confidence and just made me get my feet back on the ground! Who knew an outfit can lift up your spirits?!

Last week I was invited to an event hosted at Bling Bling where I had the opportunity to view the wide collection of jewellery together with a make up demonstration that was being done together with Colour Me Beautiful!

Since this was a relaxed/ intimate event I chose to wear a cute floral tunic dress from New Look! I have never worn tunics in my nearly 25 years of life, and I am obsessed!! I also wore a fabulous waterfall blazer keeping it smart but casual at the same time!
