Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week- Charles & Ron Fashion Show

Ever since the first Charles & Ron show I attended two years ago, I have anticipated this event every year since!

The show is always spectacular with gorgeous designs, the most exceptional and detailed sewing, beautiful models and grand locations!

This show was supported by Transforma, Aldo Shoes and Accessories and Eva Garden.

Make up was applied by the super talented Justin Brincat who created a gorgeous dramatic cat eye which was paired up with an icy blue or nude lip to compliment the most distinct colours in the collection.

Hair was designed by Alex and Adrian at Alexander's Hairdressing who created a back combed double ponytail whilst nails were applied by Femme Beauty.

This year's collection was all about Malta's and Europe's great Capital City, Valletta and the setting behind all of Malta Fashion's Week shows. The show was set at the newly refurbishing St. Elmo Square. A gorgeous setting which complimented the collection amazingly!

Charles and Ron were inspired by the architectural history and beauty of our great city. In fact, the collection's name is 'Humilissima Civitas', the name which was given to Valletta by the Knights.

The designers' want every woman that wears this collection to wear her favourite city with pride!

The collection saw a number of flowy dresses, a-line skirts and dresses, crop tops, trousers and the new line of leather bags which were designed and produced locally.

A number of architectural inspired prints were printed on the outfits in shades of black, teal, coral and mint.

Charles and Ron brought back the laser cut which were prominent in both the dresses and bags.

A number of sparkle dresses were also prominent in this collection with chiffon accents which were just simply divine!

I absolutely adore watching every Charles and Ron show, the details on each piece and the prints are just divine. This my dear readers is what I call pure talent!

Check out photos below which were provided by Kevin Gatt, one of my good friends and very talented photographer! I encourage you to check out his work on his Facebook page and Website:

Until tomorrow!
