Today, I'm finally going to workout at GX-1 again after a week and a half break. Oh no, it wasn't a lazy break! I just had to wait for my arm to properly heal, after slipping a pot filled with boiling water on my left arm . .
I started going on the 16th of February and registered for a 3 month membership.
There's nothing like GX-1 here in Malta!! They basically have a timetable with different workouts throughout the day! There is a selection of workouts, so you can never get bored!! The instructors are super friendly and do a great job at motivating you during the workouts!
I tried all workouts, except for the Sh'bam, as I can't attend on the day it's held.Oh and Body Pump.
Their workout are by Les Mills, which hold classes worldwide!!
Classes at gx-1 include:
- Body Attack, which is basically a high-energy interval training class that combines athletic aerobic movements
- Body Balance, which is the Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout
- Body Combat, is a cardio workout inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.
- Body Pump is a barbell class, Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements.
- Sh'Bam is a dance exercise class.
- Spinning is an exercise bike workout.

I'm looking forward to my workout tonight!! If you don't like gyms, but still need help to either loose weight, keep fit or tone up or simply want to try something different, gx-1 is ideal for you!!
